Meet the
team
We are a tightly knit team of dedicated volunteers. 100% of your donation goes back into the community.
Evan M.
Evan has real estate in his blood. His mom was a passionate realtor who took him with her around the city and sparked a love for all things Toronto. He studied politics in university because he has always wanted to help people on a grand scale. Evan spent his 20’s and 30’s working as a professional and volunteering when he had the time, mostly with homeless outreach groups. While still working a full time job, Evan hopes to spend more and more time developing this charity into its full potential.
Marc A.
Since Marc could talk, he has always been outspoken about helping those less fortunate. He spends much of his days engaging with people to see how he can help them, and backs up the talk with consistent and substantial action. Marc works a full time job in sales, but wishes he can devote all of his energy to Card for Change.
Alison H.
Alison has worked for non-profit organizations throughout her career. She is brilliant and passionate and uses those qualities to help people every day. Alison has the experience and know-how to transform Card for Change into what we know it can become.
Jesse M.
If Alison is the brains behind the operation, Jesse is the circulatory system. He fills every gap, whether it be programmatic, communicative and creative. Jesse has also spent his whole career in the non-profit industry, working for several major organizations in various capacities. He is keenly aware of and empathetic to the issues we face as a society and is excited to help solve some of them through Card for Change.
Jordan H.
Jordan is a brilliant legal mind and is passionate about helping people, not just in his professional capacity but now also the less fortunate. Card for Change is lucky to have Jordan’s energy to help us with any legal matters and in general.
Our supporters
We couldn’t have done this without the generous support of our Supporters.
We need
YOU!
Poverty, hunger, and homelessness cost billions annually. Providing basic needs to the homeless has proven to help them escape poverty, secure housing, ensure food security, and invest in skills and training.
Card for Change’s innovative approach directs every donated dollar straight to those in need via a gift card.
And here’s where you come in: Just a few dollars a month from Canadians can provide safety, security, and stability to those in need.
With sufficient funds and support we can reduce poverty and end homelessness.
Let’s make change together.
If you have made it this far, chances are you want to directly impact the lives of people facing homelessness.
Giving those experiencing homelessness the means to meet their most basic needs has to make a lasting impact. It helps them move out of poverty, secure stable housing, become food secure, and invest in the skills and training they need.
